Far Cry 4 is an action-adventure first-person shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One video game consoles, and Microsoft Windows. 2012 video game sequel to Far Cry 3, it is the fourth installment in the Far Cry series. It will be released in North America on November 18, 2014, and in Australia and Europe, will be released 20 November 2014.

Far Cry 4 marked the first time in the series Far Cry that the main character is a native to the country where the game takes place.
