Many occasions  our GMail inboxes are flooded  with  thousands of messages a day—mail from colleagues, from friends, from lists, about appointments and automated mail that’s often not important. It’s time-consuming to figure out what needs to be read and what needs a reply.Now  Google has come up with a new feature  to GMail users:The Priority Inbox.It automatically identifies your important email and separates it out from everything else, so you can focus on what really matters.

Priority Inbox navigation link is available  on the left-hand side of your mail, you’ll see messages grouped in three sections: Important and unread, Starred, and Everything else. This is the default setup, but you may customize your sections on the Priority Inbox in Settings.When a message come in, Gmail automatically classifies some of them as important.On the basis of variety of signals GMail  predict which messages are important, including the people you email most  and which messages you open and reply to .You you can also adjust message priority to make it work better for you.

It gives you a lot of control: You can remove the Important and Starred sections, tweak how many messages they show, and tell Gmail you only want to see unread messages in them, or both unread and read ones. You can also choose whether Gmail loads your Priority Inbox or the standard one by default. And you can turn off Priority Inbox altogether if its just not for you.Rolling out  of Priority Inbox is over the next week or so. When you see New! Priority Inbox in the top right corner of your inbox youll be able to try it out.
